Red velvet in a mug

I was thinking that for Valentine's day basically every person has at least thought about baking something sweet and romantic... not necessarily for a girlfriend/boyfriend, your own taste buds need some love too! So here I am, in perfect timing for next year's Valentine's day, with a superquick and supergood recipe!!

You guys told me that you liked my cake in a mug microwave recipe, so why not making it the theme of my recipes? You know I love baking and a blog without some sweetness  especially with a username like mine!  wouldn't be acceptable.

5 tablespoons of flour
0.5 teaspoon of baking powder

1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
4 tablespoons of icing sugar (I suppose you can use also regular one)
5 tablespoons of vegetable oil (I'm gonna put 3 just to feel less guilty)

4.5 tablespoons of buttermilk
0.5 teaspoon of vanilla extract
0.5 teaspoon of red food colouring

Step one:
Mix all the dry ingredients in the mug.
Step two:
Add in the oil + buttermilk + vanilla + colouring.

Now we're done with the dough. How easy was that?

Step three:
Put in the microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds on high temperature, depending on your microwave you can adjust the time, sometimes it takes 2 minutes to cook. Use a toothpick to see if it's cooked (you know the trick, right? Stick the toothpick in and if it comes out clean it's ready)

Pro tip: whip some cream to give it more of a creamy texture. You can either dip your bites in or to pour the cream all over it because you are going to eat it all anyway ;)
